Snowmass Village is going to the dogs!  The Big Dog Show, that is.

Taking place on the lawn in Snowmass Base Village June 18-20, the Big Dog Show showcases 20 giant steel dog sculptures, created and welded by artist Dale Rogers. Be sure to bring the dogs (and the kids!) to meet these giant pups as they take over Snowmass.

In addition, puppy portrait photos available on the Base Village Lawn (Friday-Sunday, 2-4pm) and Yappy Hours around town!

 

Friday, June 18th:

Ranger Station hosts Yappy Hour from 3-6pm with treats for well behaved, leashed puppy dogs.

 

Saturday, June 19th:

Limelight hosts Yappy Hour from 4-6pm with food and drink specials and a dog treat buffet!

mix6 Yappy Hour includes $5/draft beer and a dog treat from 4-6pm.

This dog friendly event is free and open to dog owners and non-dog owners alike!

Getting Here:

The Big Dog Show takes place in Base Village. The Village Shuttle provides free public transportation throughout Snowmass Village. Routes and pick-up locations can be found here.

If you are staying outside of Snowmass Village, RFTA provides free public transportation from Aspen and the Brush Creek Intercept Lot to Base Village. Free parking is available at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot and Town Park Station (Rodeo Lot), with free shuttles to the Snowmass Mall. Routes and schedules can be found here.

If you are driving, free parking is available in the Base Village Parking Garage and in the numbered lots on Carriage Way.
