New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks

Ring in 2026 in Snowmass with the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks!

Close out 2025 with the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade on Fanny Hill. Skiers and snowboarders ages 8 and up are invited to join in the fun making wide turns down the mountain with LED torches that illuminate the night sky and snow with a festive glow.

When: December 31. Torchlight Parade begins at 6:00 pm. Fireworks begin at 10:00 pm.

Where: Snowmass Base Village (Ski/Snowboard participants begin loading the Village Express chairlift at 5:30pm.)

Participation: Online registration will be first come, first served (250 people max). Intermediate skiers and snowboarders, ages 8 and up, may participate. Sign ups begin on Sunday, December 28 at 8:00am. Register here.

  • A 2025/2026 Aspen-Snowmass season pass or a valid day pass is required to participate. 
  • Must have a guardian with anyone under 16 
  • NO selfie-sticks
  • NO drones

Those who are signed must meet promptly at the Guest Services cart at Base Village adjacent to Base Camp Bar & Grill on December 31st between 4:30-5:30pm to sign a waiver and obtain their entry to the Torchlight Parade. Guardians can sign for those under 18 in their group.

Fireworks will also take place over Aspen Mountain at 8:00pm. Step into The Collective’s New Year’s Eve Open House to warm up after the parade and before the fireworks!
