Due to current mountain conditions, New Year’s Eve fireworks in Snowmass have been canceled. The Torchlight Parade will still take place at 6:00pm on Fanny Hill, and guests can take in the sight from the Snowmass Mall and Base Village. Registration for the Torchlight Parade is now full at 250 participants.
Close out 2025 with the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade on Fanny Hill. Skiers and snowboarders ages 8 and up are invited to join in the fun making wide turns down the mountain with LED torches that illuminate the night sky and snow with a festive glow.
When: Wednesday, December 31. Torchlight Parade begins at 6:00 pm.
Where: Snowmass Base Village (Ski/Snowboard participants begin loading the Village Express chairlift at 5:30pm.)
Participation: Online registration will be first come, first served (250 people max). Intermediate skiers and snowboarders, ages 8 and up, may participate. Sign ups have closed for the parade, but you can still watch from Base Village!
If you don’t claim your ticket by 5:30pm, your spot will be given away.
Participants will load the Village Express chairlift at 5:30pm and descend as a parade at 6:00pm. Please note that skiers must be able to ski without poles.
Those who are signed must meet promptly at the Guest Services cart at Base Village adjacent to Base Camp Bar & Grill on December 31st between 4:30-5:30pm to sign a waiver and obtain their entry to the Torchlight Parade. Guardians can sign for those under 18 in their group.
New Year’s Eve celebrations continue throughout the Village, with festive offerings at restaurants and bars, plus a free Family Open House at The Collective. Step into The Collective’s New Year’s Eve Open House to warm up after the parade and before the fireworks!
