First Tracks

Cruising through untouched powder or freshly groomed corduroy is a dream-come-true for skiers and boarders. The free Snowmass First Tracks program makes it possible, with the chance to be among the first on the mountain, taking the first run of the day with patrollers and/or instructors.

Advance reservation and valid lift ticket required.

Skiers/riders should be age 11+ with intermediate skills.

When: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:00am; beginning mid-December

Ambassador Tours

Meet a knowledgeable local ambassador for a free, educational tour around Snowmass on skis.

Mountain tours meet every day at 11:00am at the top of Sam’s Knob and last between one and two hours. There’s no better way to experience Snowmass than with a local who can show you around Colorado’s second largest ski resort. Must be an intermediate level or better to join; valid lift ticket required.

Coffee & Information

Snowmass offers free coffee and Supergoop sunscreen in the morning and information all day long. Local ambassadors are stationed in high traffic areas to provide advice on where to go for après, what runs to ski first in the morning, and how to check a pair of skis with the ski valet.
