Snowmass Village, Colo., (June 24, 2025) – Summer in Snowmass Village continues in full force this July with a robust and dynamic lineup of events that celebrate art, music, comedy, and outdoor adventure. The month features beloved community traditions like the festive 4th of July Celebration, the laugh-filled COMEDY WKND!, high-energy endurance events like the Audi Power of Four Trail Run and Snowmass 50 bike race, and vibrant cultural happenings at Anderson Ranch Arts Center.

4th of July Celebration – July 4: Celebrate Independence Day on Friday, July 4 in Snowmass! Enjoy a festive evening with a free concert on Fanny Hill featuring the Spazmatics, returning for a second year of festive fun. Americana Concert – July 5 & August 2: Kicking off over Independence Day weekend, the Americana Concert features local Colorado bands playing a spectrum of sounds. Ranch Week – July 7-12: A fundraiser at heart, Ranch Week serves as a way for Anderson Ranch’s supporters and community members to come together in celebration of the Ranch and honor the recipient of the International Artist Award, which is given annually to globally recognized artists who demonstrate the highest level of artistic achievement and whose careers have fundamentally influenced contemporary art. Ranch Week is filled with robust programming, including a series of performances, conversations, and gatherings supporting and celebrating Anderson Ranch’s long-standing impact on contemporary art and art-making. www.andersonranch.org
COMEDY WKND! – July 11-13: The Collective Snowmass and Snowmass Live present the third annual COMEDY WKND! July 10-13. This event is back to bring top-notch national comedic talent to the Roaring Fork Valley. Snowmass Live has presented national and regional comedians at The Collective Hall since 2021, while also creating a hub of comedy for aspiring local comedians. Anderson Ranch Picnic and Auction – July 12: A tradition for over 40 years, the Anderson Ranch Picnic and Auction brings people together for an afternoon of fun and excitement. Silent auctions feature over 200 works of art by top contemporary artists and locals alike. Alongside the auctions are engaging art-based activities for all ages, delicious picnic-style food, and live music. A fundraiser at heart, all proceeds from the day directly benefit Anderson Ranch educational programs. www.andersonranch.org
Triple Crown World Series – July 15: The Triple Crown World Series returns this summer to the Roaring Fork Valley, giving guests and locals the opportunity to watch the best of youth baseball. Headquartered in Snowmass, the Triple Crown World Series is a Valley-wide sporting event, featuring youth baseball games (9D2, 11D2, 12D2, 14D2) with regional and national attendees. Opening ceremonies take place in Snowmass on July 15, with spectator opportunities available throughout the week. Audi Power of Four Trail Run – July 19: The Audi Power of Four Trail Run is a premier endurance race series utilizing the unique and amazing terrain of each of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains. Each race is designed to test the limits and skills of both elite and recreational athletes. The event’s signature race is a challenging 50K Ultra that covers the four Aspen Snowmass mountains utilizing a mix of singletrack and dirt road. The event also offers a 25K race along the famed Government Trail covering Buttermilk and Snowmass mountains. Snowmass 50 – July 26: The Snowmass 50 features 25 miles of some of the best single track mountain bike trails in Colorado. Divisions are broken into 50-mile solo racer (two loops), 25-mile solo racer (one loop) and 50-mile teams of two where each rider completes one 25-mile lap. The race course covers 25 miles, 5,000’ of ascent across a diverse range of Snowmass Village’s best singletrack trails. Snowmass Dog Wash – July 27: From 12:00pm-2:00pm, bring Fido out to Snowmass Base Village for an afternoon dedicated to the dogs. The Collective Snowmass – Daily, through September: The Collective Snowmass, the hub for culture and community activity in Snowmass Base Village, has a jam-packed calendar for Summer 2025! Returning favorites include Community Bingo, Chess Club, Fitness on the Rink, Movies Under the Stars, and the Snowmass Live Comedy Series. Check the calendar for unique events like salsa dancing lessons, relaxing wellness workshops, ecstatic dance sessions, and many other pop-up activities. The Collective also features yard games, splash pads, fountains, and playground throughout Snowmass Base Village. ACES Guided Hikes – Daily, through September 1; Weekends only in September: Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) returns to Snowmass this summer to lead twice daily hikes. The Snowmass Wildflower Walk begins at 10:00am, on the Nature Trail, while the Ice Age Discovery Walk starts at 1:00pm on the Discovery Trail. Hikes are led by a knowledgeable ACES Naturalist guide and feature natural history, facts about local flora and fauna, possible wildlife sightings, and species identification. Snowmass Rodeo – Wednesdays, through August 20: The iconic Snowmass Rodeo is a long-standing Western tradition celebrating 51 years this summer. Complete with authentic cowboys and cowgirls competing in all the rodeo classics, including barrel riding, saddle bronc, bull riding, and much more, this Wednesday evening staple is not to be missed. Snowmass Free Concert Series – Thursdays, through August 21: Celebrating 33 years of free live music this summer, the Snowmass Free Concert Series, a locals’ favorite summer tradition, returns to Fanny Hill every Thursday evening at 6:30pm. Ice Age Explorer Tours – Fridays, through September 26: Did you know Snowmass is the site of the finest ice age fossil discovery in the world? Learn the full story of this remarkable discovery from an Aspen Science Center educator. Every Friday at 3:30pm, meet in the Limelight Snowmass lobby to learn about the mammoths and mastodons who used to live in Snowmass, and see replicas of Ice Age animal bones, teeth, tusks, and more. Then, follow along on a guided Ice Age Passport Walk through Base Village and the Snowmass Mall to see art inspired by the discovery and earn an Ice Age prize!
