Hotel News
Viewline Resort Snowmass features a slate of activities this summer. Rodeo Night on Wednesdays is a pre‑rodeo ritual with a playful, distinctly Snowmass spirit. Thursday evenings come alive at Concert Nights at Bunny’s, featuring a rotating menu at Bunny’s Social Club, perfectly paired with the live music energy in Snowmass Village. Guests can look forward to playful, crave‑worthy offerings such as Taco & Spritz pairings or featured sushi specials, creating a relaxed yet lively pre‑ or post‑concert dining experience. Friday nights call for salt rims and sunset toasts. During dinner service, Bunny’s hosts Margarita Social, featuring all house margaritas for $14. On Saturday evenings, guests are invited to unwind on the Bunny’s deck with Wine Down Snowmass. Enjoy 20% off all wines during dinner service, thoughtfully curated to complement the menu and the mountain air. The first and last Sunday of each month features Brunch at Bunny’s. Weekend brunches at Bunny’s get an indulgent upgrade with limitless mimosas and more.

One Vibe Snowmass, located on the Snowmass Mall, celebrates its first summer season, featuring fun and eclectic gifts and clothing, as well as souvenirs.
TAC Fitness, located in One Snowmass in Base Village features free Fitness on the Rink on Saturdays and Sundays from June through September. TAC Fitness Snowmass group exercise studio offers several classes during the week. Drop-ins and day passes are available.
Snowmass Ski Area News
The Cabin Summer Brunch and Concert Series: Returning for the second summer, guests can enjoy brunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays this July and select weekends in August and September at The Cabin, located mid-mountain on Snowmass. Visitors can hike or bike to the restaurant to enjoy a delicious brunch, surrounded by stunning views and music.
The new Elk Camp chair that opened this winter will now double bike haul capacity starting this summer to the Snowmass Bike Park. This represents Aspen Snowmass’ continued investment in summer operations and the world-renowned Snowmass Bike Park. Additionally, the Village Express and Cony Express Chairlifts run on select days this summer, expanding access to the variety of trails on the west side of the mountain.
Restaurant News
Mountain town favorite eatery, Slope & Hatch, opened their third location in December 2025 in The Collective Snowmass and celebrates their first summer season in 2026. Slope & Hatch serves traditional and unconventional tacos and hot dogs in a casual, colorful setting, adjacent to the popular Collective Hall and Game Lounge. The restaurant caters to tastes of all kinds, including vegans, vegetarians, and meat lovers alike. Slope & Hatch also has locations in Glenwood Springs and Eagle, CO.
Sundae Ice Cream, a summer staple in Snowmass Base Village, features three unique offerings for summer 2026. During the early summer season, enjoy “Cone-gradulations Graduates”, where recent graduates can visit Sundae and receive a free scoop of ice cream when they show their cap or gown in the shop. Celebrate National Ice Cream Day on July 19. Customers who download the Sundae Loyalty App can visit any Sundae scoop shop and receive one free scoop of ice cream. This offer is valid for one day only. Finally, from May through August, Sundae features Root Beer Floats as a limited-edition menu item available at all scoop shops.
Lift Line Tavern, at Viceroy Snowmass opened in January 2026 and makes its summer debut as a new slopeside tavern designed to elevate the après-ski experience with Colorado-inspired flavors, relaxed mountain elegance, and true hike-in/hike-out access. Rooted in local mountain culture, the 70-seat gathering space features a warm, inviting interior with timber and stone accents, a central bar, and an expansive outdoor patio with fire pits, creating a seamless transition from the slopes to après relaxation. Led by Culinary Director Chef Matt Zubrod, the approachable yet thoughtfully executed menu highlights familiar favorites such as the signature Wagyu burger sourced from Cross Creek Ranch in Durango, line-caught fish and chips, comforting seasonal dishes, and shareable handhelds, complemented by unique beverages including the Snowflake White Hot Chocolate and non-alcoholic Mionetta Spritz.
New Summer 2026 Events & Notable Anniversaries
New – Mountainside Music Festival – June 11-13: Mountainside Music Festival is a new, free, three-day festival, kicking off the summer music scene in Snowmass Village, starting Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 13. Taking place on the Fanny Hill stage, the festival is a celebration of Snowmass and its musical legacy. On Thursday and Saturday, enjoy free glow goodies. On Friday night immediately following the festival, there will be an 18-minute drone show commemorating the Sesquisemiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood. Collect a free Colorado flag from the festival, and watch drones light up the sky. In addition to a robust musical lineup, guests can find a vendor village at the top of Fanny Hill, complete with container bars and food trucks from near and far. On Thursday and Friday evenings, doors open at 5:30pm, with an opener at 6:00pm and headliner at 7:30pm. On Saturday, doors open at 4:00pm and features two openers and a headliner.

10th Anniversary – Snowmass Rendezvous – June 27: Snowmass Rendezvous celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026. From 4:00pm – 8:00pm on the lawn in Snowmass Base Village, enjoy endless games, bottomless adult beverages, tastings, and live music. Tickets include unlimited wine, beer, and spirit tastings, outdoor gear activations, games, music, and more.
America 250/Colorado 150 – Snowmass Tree-O – August 7-8: The Colorado Brewery Running Series, a Denver-based running series, returns to Snowmass this summer, with route commemorating the 150th anniversary of Colorado. 2026 marks 150 years since Colorado became a state (and 250 years since the United States became a nation). In honor of this momentous birthday, this year’s Snowmass Tree-O consists of 3.76k, 5k, and 10k trail runs starting and ending on the Snowmass Mall. Together the distances add up to 18.76K in honor of 1876, the year Colorado was founded. Runners can race on Friday evening or Saturday morning (or both!). Friday evening features two start waves at 5:00pm (5k) and 6:00pm (3.76k), and Saturday morning features three start waves at 7:30am (10k), 9:30am (5k), or 10:30am (3.76k). Each runner receives an event-specific race bib, finisher medal, and finisher beer, plus all runners that complete all three distances get a bonus 18.76k Challenge medal.
*New – Tough Draw Tour: Bull Riding – August 21–22: The Tough Draw Tour: Bull Riding, produced by Tough Draw, brings a rider-first, bull riding–only event to Snowmass for a pivotal stop in the Tour’s inaugural season. Featuring a select group of elite professional bull riders, the Snowmass event serves as the final regular season stop before the Tour Championship, with athletes battling for buckles, Tour standings, and a share of the $50,000 purse. Hosted at the Snowmass Rodeo Grounds, the event delivers premier competition, elevated production, and an authentic Western experience for seasoned bull riding fans and newcomers alike.
60th Anniversary – Anderson Ranch Arts Center: This summer marks Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s 60th year of art-making in Snowmass Village, with a vibrant season of weekly workshops and lectures, including the 2026 Summer Series: Featured Artists & Conversations which runs weekly from July 9-Aug. 6. Ranch Week (July 13-18, 2026) is the Ranch’s signature annual celebration of art, community, and creativity, featuring the Ranch Gala on Wednesday, July 15 honoring artist Marilyn Minter as the 2026 International Artist Honoree, and culminating in the community Ranch Picnic and Auction on Saturday, July 18.
Winter 2026/27 News
Ullrhof, the beloved mid-mountain restaurant on Snowmass, started a complete rebuild in summer 2025 and is set to re-open for the 2026-27 winter season. The new Ullrhof will be Aspen Snowmass’s first fully electric restaurant with seating for 500+. These projects are part of a multi-year initiative to elevate guest dining experiences at Snowmass and add restaurant seating across the mountain.
