The Mane Event: Trotting Through Tradition of Horsemanship

The Mane Event seeks to celebrate the long-standing tradition of horsemanship in the Roaring Fork Valley and Snowmass’ heritage. From 11:00am-2:00pm, come out to the Snowmass Rodeo Grounds to enjoy equestrian demos such as Classical Dressage, a Trick Riding performance by the Westernaires, therapeutic horseback riding techniques from Smiling Goat Ranch, as well as reining, equine massage, and farrier (horse shoeing) demos.

Get up close and personal with the animals of Smiling Goat Ranch, enjoy some favorite farmer’s market vendors in a curated marketplace, activities for the kids, and live music from Elk Range.
