She began her career in Snowmass in 1997, working as the events coordinator for the Snowmass Resort Association, before being promoted event manager. After four years at SRA, she joined the Aspen Chamber Resort Association as the events manager and worked her way to senior events manager. Hardman spent over 13 years at the Aspen Chamber, working events including the Aspen Food & Wine Classic, 12 Days of Aspen, Winterskol, Aspen’s 4th of July celebration, and more. Most recently she was the event manager at the Aspen Club. In her new role, Hardman will focus on event sales implementation, operations, client relations, and more.

Techau began her career with Snowmass Tourism in 2006 as the group coordinator for the Group Sales team. During her eleven years as a member of Snowmass Tourism, Techau has been instrumental in providing support to the Group Sales team, as well as the greater Tourism team. As group coordinator, Techau also assisted with coordination, implementation, and execution of year-round Snowmass events. In her new role, Techau will focus on client relations, event contracts, budgets, and more. Previously she worked in multiple positions at Silvertree Properties including conference services and as a catering manager.

“This well-deserved promotion not only recognizes Kiesha’s ongoing valuable contributions to the Town, but also provides her an opportunity to grow and develop in the special events arena,” says Abello, “Kiesha and Julie will work seamlessly to produce a vibrant special events lineup going forward.
