Snowmass Village, Colo., (April 3, 2019) – In celebration of Snowmass’ closing weekend, Snowmass Spring Fling, on Saturday, April 20, features on-mountain parties at Elk Camp Restaurant & Gwyn’s High Alpine and off-mountain celebrations in Snowmass Base Village & on the Snowmass Mall.

Spring Fling Schedule – Saturday, April 20

11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Elk Camp Surf & Snow Beach Party

Head up to Elk Camp for some fun in the sun! For the third year in a row, Elk Camp Restaurant hosts an end-of-season party featuring free leis, a dance party, and margarita blender bikes. For the first time, the Surf & Snow Beach party will take place with a Pond Skim! Skiers and snowboarders are highly encouraged to participate. After the Pond Skim, ski or ride down (swimsuit optional) where the party continues in Base Village. Don’t ski? Gondola foot passes up to Elk Camp are free!

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Highway to the Danger Zone Party at Gwyn’s High Alpine

Bust out the aviators, 80’s denim, and leather jackets for a Top Gun themed party at Gwyn’s High Alpine, complete with games, libation specials, and music. Berkel Beats is spinning on the deck and prizes are awarded to the most outrageous Top Gun costumes. The party continues in Base Village when the Snowmass Patrol sweep arrives.

2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Spring Fling Beach Party & Pig Roast in Base Village

Top Gun Themed

Snowmass Base Village continues the Spring Fling festivities with a Top Gun themed celebration. The party features DJs spinning 80’s hits, hot tubs, bottle service, costume contests, corn hole competition, the third annual pig cook off, bounce houses, and more. Participating restaurants include Base Camp Bar & Grill, Sake, Slice of Italy, and State 38. Proceeds benefit Challenge Aspen. 

3:30 p.m. Swimsuit Ski Down

Continue the closing weekend festivities at restaurants around Snowmass Village, with many offering live music and food & drink specials.
