Snowmass Community Photo + Get The Scoop Returns on August 15

Turn Out for Snowmass’ Annual Community Events During the Snowmass Free Concert Series

Snowmass Village, Colo., (July 16, 2019) – On Thursday, August 15 before and during the Snowmass Free Concert Series, the Snowmass Village Town Council and Snowmass Tourism invite guests and locals to join the Town for two exciting community events: “Get the Scoop” with members of the Snowmass Village Town Council and the third annual community photo.

From 5:30-7:00pm, Snowmass Village Town Council hosts “Get the Scoop.” Members of Town Council are available to meet and discuss any topic of interest with community members, while giving away free ice cream. All are invited to come and connect with Council members, ask questions, and provide feedback directly to their elected officials.

“The Town Council has made it a top priority to be available to the community and listen,” says Mayor Markey Butler. “What could be a better opportunity to engage with the community than at a Thursday night concert with free ice cream?”

During intermission of the Snowmass Free Concert Series, featuring reggae/rock group, The Samples, at approximately 7:30pm, Snowmass Tourism invites community members to gather on Fanny Hill for the third annual community photo. Participation is encouraged, rain or shine.
