Snowmass Village, Colo., (June 10, 2019) – Today, Snowmass Tourism releases the full band list for the 2019 Snowmass Free Concert Series. Celebrating its 28th season, the Snowmass Free Concert Series, June 13 – August 22, plays 11 consecutive Thursdays on Fanny Hill, in addition to two bonus Saturdays, June 8 and July 13. The lineup showcases country, reggae, indie, folk, R&B, jazz, rock, and more. Get a preview of the band lineup with a curated Spotify playlist.
The Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing are again the beneficiaries of profits from alcoholic beverage sales at the Snowmass Concert Series. New this summer, in partnership with Snowmass Tourism, patrons can purchase a special $10 re-usable aluminum cup, which entitles the cup holder to $1 off on the cost of drink refills. These specially designed cups aim to help to minimize waste and are a worthwhile investment for those attending concerts all summer. For one-time visitors, proceeds from each purchase go directly to support the Camp. Properties and businesses who wish to purchase cups in bulk for their guests can do so by contacting the Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. For information and other items, visit the Camp’s table inside the concert venue.
“Once again this is going to be a fabulous summer of music in Snowmass,” said Rose Abello, Tourism Director, Snowmass Tourism. “And, we are so grateful to the Deaf Camp for offering a reusable cup this year, we all need to work together to reduce waste!”
Also new for the 2019 season is Rock for a Reason on July 13. In place of the Deaf Camp Benefit, nonprofits from around the Roaring Fork Valley have the opportunity to advocate for their causes on the slopes of Fanny Hill. Select non-profits are invited to share their vision with Snowmass community during the first ever Rock for a Reason.
