Snowmass Adds Two New Faces to Tourism Team

Ashley McGee Hired as New Group Sales Manager; Erin Young Joins Marketing Team as Marketing Coordinator

Snowmass, Colo., (October 6, 2017) – Today, Snowmass Tourism announces two new appointments to the Snowmass Tourism team. Ashley McGee joins Snowmass Tourism’s group sales department as group sales manager, while Erin Young joins the marketing team as marketing coordinator.

“We are so pleased to welcome Ashley and Erin to Team Tourism,” says Rose Abello, Tourism Director, Snowmass Tourism. “Both Ashley and Erin have deep roots in the Valley and we are looking forward to welcoming their fresh perspectives, skills, and enthusiasm to the community.”

Ashley McGee moved to the Roaring Fork Valley 16 years ago and spent her first 7 years living in Snowmass. McGee is an experienced sales manager, having previously worked as a group + leisure sales manager for the Sky Hotel for three years, as well as most recently for the Limelight Hotel as guest service manager and food + beverage manager. “I am so happy to be back in Snowmass, promoting this incredible destination, on the brink of such an exciting time in its development and history. I am looking forward to bringing vitality and groups to the village,” says McGee. When she is not in the office, McGee can be found hiking mountains (her past list includes Kilimanjaro and many of Colorado’s 14ers), snowboarding, or split boarding.

Erin Young comes to Snowmass Tourism from The Aspen Club, where she worked as marketing & fitness manager for three years. Prior to her position in marketing at The Aspen Club, Young was a physical therapy aid at The Aspen Club Sports Medicine Institute. Young is also currently a soccer coach for the Roaring Fork Valley Soccer Club (Under 13 girls) and an athletic trainer for the Aspen Leafs Tier Three Hockey team. “I am thrilled to be working to promote Snowmass as a world-class destination. I am most looking forward to getting to know and getting involved in the greater Snowmass community,” says Young. When she is not working on ads, brochures, and other Snowmass marketing initiatives, Young can be found skiing, mountain biking, running, and generally enjoying the great outdoors.

Both McGee and Young are looking forward to getting outside this winter and experiencing all Snowmass has to offer.
