Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Festivities On and Off Mountain

Snowmass Village, Colo., (March 8, 2019) – Get lucky in Snowmass on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in honor of St. Patrick’s Day with a full day of festivities, both on and off mountain. Events include live music, family entertainment, the third annual Ullrhof Games, and much more.

 

Sunday, March 17th Snowmass St. Patrick’s Day Lineup:

 

12:00pm – Ullrhof Games

Ullrhof Restaurant, located mid-mountain on Snowmass, sees the return of the Ullrhof Games for the third year in a row. The event includes a deck party, beer and food specials, a DJ, prize giveaways and, of course, teams competing in traditional games such as beer pong, speed quarters, corn hole, and stump. Festivities kick-off at Noon. 

 

3:00-6:00pm – Live Music with Burn it Blue in Snowmass Base Village

Burn it Blue is an acoustic trio of multi-instrumentalists with roots in bluegrass, old-time, Celtic, country, jazz, and rock and roll. Entertaining audiences with a fast-paced, exciting and humorous live show, Burn it Blue combines original music with covers of traditional and modern popular songs for a unique interpretation of the traditional string band genre. The band takes the stage at the base of Snowmass Ski Area in Snowmass Base Village.

 

3:00-5:00pm – Kidtoons Family Entertainment

Enjoy St. Paddy’s Day themed entertainment for the whole family in Snowmass Base Village. Kids can enjoy face painting, a stilt walker, free ice skating on the Ice Rink to the sounds of Irish music, free swag, and much more.

 

3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Snowmass S’mores

Guests visiting Snowmass this winter can experience a sweet type of après. Back for its second year, guests of all ages can enjoy Snowmass S’mores, free s’mores from 3:30–4:30pm every day. Guests can find branded s’mores carts (which resemble oversized marshmallows and include step by step s’moring instructions) at the fire pits in Base Village and the Snowmass Mall. Special for St. Patrick’s Day, Snowmass S’mores features the Mint to Be – chocolate covered graham crackers, marshmallows, and mint green milk chocolate.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Restaurant Specials:

 

Snowmass features over 35 bars and restaurants, ranging from Asian to American, BBQ to Latin, each serving up a unique dining experience. St. Patrick’s Day specials can be found at a variety of restaurants in Snowmass, including:

 

Base Camp Bar & Grill features an Irish menu, including a Rueben sandwich and Shepard’s pie along with themed drink specials from the bar.

 

Big Hoss Grill is serving green beer and $10 Irish car bombs

 

SAKE is serving crispy Rueben egg rolls with themed drink specials from the bar.

 

Slice Italian Bistro features seafood bruschetta-crostini topped with mixed seafood and a chipotle goat cheese spread, along with themed drink specials from the bar.

 

Venga Venga features a DJ from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
