Snowmass Village shines its brightest at night when the stars come out, and this astronomy session is an opportunity for a closer look at the night sky. Explore space through multiple professional telescopes with Colorado-based Astro Tours astronomers. Head to the Events Lawn in Snowmass Base Village for an unforgettable nighttime experience, 8:00-9:30pm on Friday and Saturday evenings, September 11 & 12.
Depending on conditions, guests may observe star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, double stars, and planets. Astronomers will explain what is visible, answer questions, and explore how looking into space also means looking back in time.
