Mark your calendars for Fall Fest at Elk Camp! Celebrate the last weekend of summer operations with live music and family-friendly festivities on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. Check out activities like kid’s face painting, caramel apple stations, drink specials, a pumpkin patch, and contest giveaways. Head up the gondola and toast to the fall season. Join Snowmass neighbors and friends for the annual Snowmass Community Picnic at the Town Park Gazebo! From 12:00-2:00pm, come by for live music, face painting, a baking contest, photobooth, lawn games, and free, all-day access to the Snowmass Recreation Center. The Town will provide burgers, hot dogs, and a vegetarian main dish. Get a good workout in, lay by the pool, and enjoy an autumn picnic with the Town!
Kidtoons will be there bringing the fun, and there will be a bouncy house set up for the kids, too!
Calling all home bakers! Put your favorite recipe to the test in our Community Picnic Bake Contest.
Whether it’s a family recipe passed down for generations, your signature cookies, an impressive cake, or something completely original, we want to see, and taste, what you can create.
Community members are invited to bring their best homemade baked goods to be judged in a friendly competition. Entries will be evaluated on taste, appearance, and overall impression, with prizes and bragging rights awarded to our top bakers.

Bring enough for all five judges to sample. Entries will be ranked by a panel of community judges!
No items requiring refridgeration
Participation is free; no advanced registration is needed. Entries must be submitted in person between noon and 1:00pm on Saturday, October 3rd at the Town Park Gazebo to be entered into the contest. Winners will be announced at 2:00pm at the stage!
There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner in each category. There will also be one overall winner!
