There is a reason that public libraries are such a benefit to any community. Between Pitkin and Garfield counties, there are plenty of books and library resources to keep you and your family busy for hours. You can’t miss out on the gift shop at Anderson Ranch Arts Center. Many local and visiting artists have work for sale, and you can find great stationery and small gifts to take home with you. If you’re hungry, you can grab a bite to eat at the Arts Campus Cafe between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Please note that the cafe is closed to the public in the wintertime.

Throughout the summer, The Wheeler Opera House offers many cultural events, from film screenings to live performances.
