The trick to getting your parents out for a mountain adventure is to let them know how easy it is – and that none of it involves a screen.

1.

Twist and turn your way through the countless kids’ tree trails, or land your first jump in the Low Down Terrain Park.

2.

Whether you want to ski more challenging terrain or learn a new trick in the park, the ski & snowboard school instructors at the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center are ready to help take any kid (ages 2-teen) to the next level.

3.

Roast the perfect marshmallow at the Snowmass S’mores carts every day 3:30pm-4:30pm at Base Village and Snowmass Mall.

4.

Fly through the forest on the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster.

5.

Slide down winding lanes of snow with tubing at Elk Camp.

6.

Ascend to the top of a 5-story climbing wall at the Limelight Hotel. Skate & glide across the Snowmass Base Village.

7.

Swap the ski boots for ice skates. With two free ice skating locations: central Base Village and the Snowmass Recreation Center.

8.

Explore the edges of wilderness on a dog sled ride, kennel tour, or early season ATV ride from Krabloonik. Whether you have a need for speed or would rather get to know the pups at their kennel, the pets and licks are included.
