Snowmass Tourism Debuts New Hiking Website – HikeSnowmass.com

New Website Streamlines Hiking Options In and Around Snowmass Village

Snowmass, Colo., (July 27, 2017) – Today, Snowmass Tourism announces the launch of a new website, HikeSnowmass.com, created as a hub for hiking in and around Snowmass Village.

HikeSnowmass.com is a one-stop-shop for visitors and locals to Snowmass to plot hikes, from short, beginner hikes to longer, more challenging day hikes. Users can navigate the site to determine what type of hike they are looking for, including length of hike, difficulty (split into easy, moderate, and challenging), elevation gain, out and back verses loops, and more. The site provides information such as the best hikes with kids, dog friendly trails, hikes with the best views, and other similar content that visitors and locals alike may find useful. The site also incorporates tips for parking and travel, lists local outfitters who sell hiking gear, and provides information on flowers, vegetation, and more that may be found along various trails.

HikeSnowmass.com continues our commitment to providing information in ways that make enjoying Snowmass as easy and customizable as possible”

Snowmass offers over 80 miles of hiking trails and 2.8 million acres of adjacent wilderness, prime for exploring. Iconic hikes include the Ditch Trail, the Government Trail, the Rim Trail and hike to Spiral Point (more commonly known as the Yin Yang), East and West Maroon Pass to Crested Butte, and many more.
