Ring in the New Year in Snowmass

A Torchlight Parade, Fireworks, and an Array of Dining Options Close Out 2017 and Welcome in 2018

Snowmass Village, Colo., (December 27, 2017) – New Year’s Eve in Snowmass features a Torchlight Parade, a la carte and prix-fixe menu options, parties, and fireworks.

Kick off New Year’s Eve in Snowmass with the annual Torchlight Parade. The Torchlight Parade, a Snowmass tradition, begins at 6:00 p.m. on Fanny Hill. Spectators can view the parade from Base Village or the Snowmass Village Mall. Locals and guests are welcome to participate in the Torchlight Parade (ages 8 and up with a valid ski pass). Meet at 5:30 p.m. at Village Express. Reservations are required. Visit the Ticket Pavilion on the Snowmass Mall between December 25-31 to sign up, or call 970.923.0560.

At 10:00 p.m., all can enjoy a New Year’s Eve Fireworks display over Fanny Hill.

Visitors and locals ringing in the New Year in Snowmass can choose from a variety of dining options. The Snowmass dining scene features a la carte options for those looking for a casual evening, in addition to special New Year’s Eve prix-fixe menus and parties around the Village for those seeking to ring in the New Year with a bang.

For those looking to make a night of it with specific New Year’s Eve menus and parties, the below restaurants in Snowmass offer a variety of options.

Base Camp Bar & Grill – Ring in the New Year with a DJ dance party and champagne toast.

Gwyn’s High Alpine – Start New Year’s Eve off right with a champagne breakfast at Gwyn’s.

Krabloonik – Ring in the New Year in a quaint and cozy setting at Krabloonik, with special entrées for the evening, in addition to their regular menu.

Saké – Join Saké for food and champagne specials.

Slice Italian Bistro – Enjoy food and champagne specials at Slice.

Slopeside Lanes – Ring in the New Year with bowling at Slopeside Lanes and a champagne toast at midnight.

Slow Groovin’ BBQ – Enjoy a BBQ Surf and Turf with a glass sparkling wine for $50.

Snowmass Kitchen – Visit Snowmass Kitchen between 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. for a three-course prix-fixe menu for $72. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or champagne at midnight.

State 38 – Snowmass’ newest restaurant, State 38, features food and champagne specials.

The Artisan at The Stonebridge Inn – The Artisan offers a six-course prix-fixe menu and champagne toast to ring in the New Year. The early seating starts at 5:00 p.m. for $89, while the 8:00 p.m. seating is $120. A children’s menu is available all evening for $15 (12 and under).

The Edge at The Timberline – The Edge offers a special three-course prix-fixe menu for $75 at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. A children’s menu is also available.

TORO Kitchen & Lounge – Newly opened at The Viceroy Snowmass, TORO Kitchen & Lounge hosts The Viceroy’s annual New Year’s Eve Gala. The Gala starts at 6:30 p.m., and includes a four-course prix-fixe menu, non-alcoholic beverages, party favors, and a champagne toast, as well as live music throughout the evening and dancing starting at 10:00 p.m. $375 per person, including kids (service and tax not included).

Venga Venga – Venga Venga rings in the New Year with a DJ in the bar from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., and late-night bar options until 1:00 a.m.
