There are those who will remember with fondness celebrating summer’s start by sampling beer and homemade chili in the heart of Snowmass. The Annual Snowmass Chili Pepper & Brew Fest was held on Fanny Hill in Snowmass for nine years, as an unofficial start to the summer’s many festivities. A few years ago, it evolved into the Mammoth Festival, a three-day event, with musical acts, a sampling of beers and award-winning chili.
