Pierce August began his journey as a golf pro in South Florida, but his true passion for music led him to the vibrant scene of the Roaring Fork Valley. For the past two years, Pierce has been captivating audiences up and down the valley with his heartfelt performances. He is the driving force behind Sitting On Strings, a dynamic five-piece band that blends original songs with soulful covers.

When he’s not on stage, Pierce spends his summers guiding fishing expeditions, bringing the same dedication and enthusiasm to the outdoors that he brings to his music. His repertoire includes a rich mix of original compositions and covers from artists like Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, and Chris Stapleton, among many others. Pierce’s music reflects his love for storytelling, and he continues to carve out a unique place in the local music scene.
