Chef Mawa’s Guest Chef Series is back this summer!
The Summer 2024 Guest Chef Dinner Series will feature notable forces in the culinary world, from James Beard Award nominees to MasterChef winners to the next generation of culinary influences, that bring a style of cooking or a cuisine that might be missing from current Aspen-Snowmass offerings. Along with Chef Mawa, the guest chefs will create a multi-course menu for guests. This dinner series will provide a space for both the chef and the patrons to come together to learn about new cultures, flavors, and perspectives over a delicious meal.
Each dinner is a four-course collaborative meal between Chef Mawa and the guest chef. Each dinner is $110 per person, beverages, gratuity and tax are additional.
About Chef Vicky Colas:
A Culinary Executive Chef, Entrepreneur, and Nutritionist with over 10 + years of experience in the Hospitality Restaurant Management industry. Vicky’s experience includes professional cooking and kitchen management, culinary and nutrition education, teaching, developing curriculum, and entrepreneurial administration.
The granddaughter of self-taught entrepreneurs and rum distillers, Chef Vicky grew up on a family compound in Haiti that shared the same land as the family rum distillery. Sunday dinners were grand feasts at home. The meals were prepared from her family’s organic garden, and meats farmed nearby. This shaped who she is today.
