Culinary excellence meets mountain comradery

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend with Viceroy Snowmass! In this year’s inaugural event blending culinary competition, wine pairings, and ski racing, Viceroy is bringing us back to the legendary chef ski races seen in the 1980s. Led by renowned chefs like Bernard Guillas and Matt Zubrod, Cru Cup welcomes culinary professionals, industry insiders, and food and beverage lovers for a weekend of racing, revelry, and refined flavors in the heart of the Rockies.

Proceeds from Cru Cup will benefit the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club and the Aspen Hope Center, with a focus on supporting local mental health initiatives within the hospitality industry.

Thursday, April 10 – Welcome & Cocktail Competition

6:00pm: Adelita Cocktail Competition at Toro

Sip and savor as local bartenders battle it out, pairing bold tequila cocktails with chef-crafted bites. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club and the Aspen Hope Center. 

$95 per person for outside guests

Friday, April 11 – Race Day & Gala Dinner

10:00am–12:00pm: Official Chefs’ Ski Race

Cheer on culinary stars from The Cabin as they compete in a high-energy, good-spirited race at Snowmass.

Lunch at Sumo Dog @ The Cabin – open to all spectators

5:00–6:00pm: Après-Ski Party in the Grand Ballroom, featuring a live DJ

This event will have free beer and wine, as well as the winning cocktail from Thursday night’s cocktail competition.

7:00pm: Cru Cup Gala Dinner in the Grand Salon

Celebrate the weekend in style as each chef hosts a tasting station, paired with a sommelier or winemaker for a perfectly curated culinary experience. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club and the Aspen Hope Center.

$125 per person | Includes food, beer, and wine | Limited to 200 guests
