Explore Snowmass with an ACES Naturalist Guide

Daily Naturalist-guided hikes are free and open to the public, June 13-September 7 at 10:00am and 1:00pm.

Snowmass Wildflower Walk: 10:00am-12:00pm

Meet at 10am outside of the Snowmass Ticket Pavilion on the Snowmass Mall 

Explore the gentle, kid-friendly Snowmass Nature Trail on a free guided tour with an Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) Naturalist. Learn about local ecology and an incredible diversity of wildflowers as the tour winds in and out of lush alpine meadows and aspen forests. Free and open to all ages. Snowmass Ice Age Discovery Hike: 1:00-3:00pm

Meet at 1pm outside of the Snowmass Ticket Pavilion on the Snowmass Mall

Learn about Snowmass’ incredible Ice Age Discovery on a guided hike with an Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) Naturalist. Stories from the dig will amaze you on this easy hike up the Discovery Trail, with impressive views of the Ziegler Reservoir where the fossils were discovered. Free and open to all ages.
