Spanning a wide range of mediums, these installations celebrate the winter season and the creative spirit of Snowmass Village, offering both locals and visitors an immersive art experience throughout the holidays.

2025 Artist Names & Locations:

Artist Bios

Liz Busch: When she is not teaching middle schoolers or playing in the mountains with her family, she is happily drawing and painting at home in Carbondale, Colorado.

Micah Mitchell: Micah Mitchell is a mixed-media artist based in Aspen, Colorado. His work is driven by instinct: layered in color, tension, and texture. He builds, breaks, and rebuilds, chasing a balance between structure and spontaneity. Composition, not perfection, is the pursuit. He often paints flowers, drawn to their natural femininity, but pushes against softness by adding weight, grit, and boldness, giving them a more masculine edge. Favoring process over polish.

Emily Chaplin: An Aspen, Colorado based oil painter working in expressive color and painting primarily with palette knife, Emily Chaplin’s vibrant aspen treescapes, florals and landscapes have caught the eye of collectors around the country.  Emily’s work is represented by Elliott Yeary Gallery of Aspen and Wilde Meyer Galleries of Scottsdale and Tucson, Arizona.

Kaylee Bowlby: Kaylee is a local artist and founder of Design Chase Studio. She works primarily in oils & acrylics to create both large scale murals and smaller scale commissioned works.

Olivia Daane: Olivia Daane received a B.A. From Vanderbilt University in 1992. She then studied with Syracuse University’s undergraduate and graduate programs in Florence, Italy followed by an apprenticeship with internationally-recognized artist Paul Harmon. Her paintings have been exhibited by Opera Gallery Aspen since 2017 and Manolis Projects in Miami since 2021. She is a painter (known for her butterfly series begun in 2008), art consultant, songwriter, wordsmith and mom. She has been appointed as a Global Solutions Committee member by the U.S. State Department. Her next exhibition will be at Opera Gallery Houston in 2026. For information on this print and other available works please contact info@cocoonandhive.com.

Samantha Alter: During the Covid-19 pandemic, Samantha Alter uncovered her unwavering passion for crafting miniatures, which quickly blossomed into creating custom scenes and personalized miniatures.  She dedicated herself to mastering laser cutting and 3D printing to produce unique, one-of-a-kind miniatures.  Samantha mainly sells her creations online, with her favorite projects being custom scenes and music scenes that resemble a 3D scrapbook room or memory room.  Constantly innovating and designing new ideas, her studio is based in Willits.  Additionally, she offers private miniature lessons or classes to help others to learn how to craft their own miniature scenes.

Lauren Poppie: Lauren Poppie, 30, grew up in Hopkins Minnesota. Her childhood revolved around being outdoors and spending time at the water and in the woods. She attended the University of Wisconsin Stout which led her to Aspen in 2018. Lauren has found true inspiration within nature and the beautiful landscapes of Aspen and Snowmass.

Rae Lampe: Rae Lampe uses art as a tool for connection, belonging, and empowerment. With three decades as a public school art educator and community arts facilitator, she specializes in turning blank walls into vibrant murals through hands-on, collaborative processes. Her work fosters self-esteem, emotional investment, and a sense of ownership. More than public art, these murals serve as catalysts for unity, creativity, and pride, demonstrating how shared artistic experiences can strengthen communities and transform everyday spaces.

Aggie Flores: Aggie Flores is an Argentine multidisciplinary artist working across light installations, illustration, music, and experiential design. Drawing from cosmology, mathematics, and physics, she creates tangible maps for navigating the macro and micro landscapes of consciousness. Based between the Roaring Fork Valley and Buenos Aires, her pieces act as portals—spaces where light, intention, and personal transformation meet.

Eric Brownstein: Born in Italy and having worked in metal as an ornamental welder, Eric blends influences from the two mediums to create simple and functional forms and finishes that are appropriate for both formal and casual dining. Eric blends form and function, using sculptural influences from clay and metal work to create unique vessels for the home and gallery. “The goal is to make everyday objects of comfort that are vessels for comfort food.” The evolution of Eric’s work has been inspired by the mountain environments he has lived in. He uses Soda fire and mid-fire glazes to create a finish that complements the comforts of Northern Italy and Vermont where he was raised. Eric pushes his own skills on the wheel to create a well balanced form that is easy and enjoyable to use and hold, blending craftsmanship and artful storytelling in his work.

Hannah Hurt: Bio coming soon.
