Snowmass Village, Colo., (September 25, 2018) – Snowmass Tourism welcomes two new team members to the Group Sales and Marketing Departments. Mark Scheller joins the Group Sales Department as the new group sales director, and Jon Delk, a long time Roaring Fork Valley local, joins the Marketing Team as marketing coordinator.

Jon’s knowledge of all things mountain lifestyle (biking, hiking, skiing, etc.) make him a valuable asset to the marketing team and we look forward to the unique perspective he will bring to the role.”

Mark Scheller joins Snowmass Tourism with over thirty years of strategical and operational experience in direct sales, hotel and resort sales & marketing, and new business development. Scheller comes to Snowmass via Denver, where he was the director of global accounts at GlobauxSource. Scheller has also held positions as the vice president of sales at Casino Del Sol Resort, global director of accounts at HelmsBriscoe, and vice president of sales and marketing at Tubac Golf Resort. Scheller brings a broad business and sales perspective, as well as the ability to analyze markets, create budgets, and implement sales goals and plans to his role as sales director. In his free time, Scheller enjoys golfing, fitness, fishing, and being outdoors.

Before joining Snowmass Tourism, Jon Delk was the co-founder and managing director of Roaring Fork Cycling. In conjunction with Roaring Fork Cycling, Delk was a ski and snowboard instructor and bike pro with Aspen Skiing Company for seven years. Delk has served as website administrator for Aspen Skiing Company’s Ski & Snowboard School, and has worked in various roles at Eldora Ski Resort and NZSki. Delk is a graduate of CU Boulder and is working toward an MBA with Colorado State University. In his new role, Delk will assist with the management of Snowmass Tourism’s websites, email marketing, lifestyle content, and stakeholder communications. Delk lives in Carbondale with his wife Erin and dog Tanner. In his free time Delk enjoys traveling, mountain biking, road biking, skiing, and snowboarding.
