Wintersköl celebration returns to Aspen and Snowmass

A four-day celebration of mountain life and tradition, the Wintersköl celebration is a beloved local weekend of events. This year, the celebration will include activations in Snowmass, as well as Aspen’s signature on-mountain activities, concerts, a craft beer fest, Soupsköl™, a torchlight descent down Aspen Mountain, a bonfire, and fireworks. Don’t miss out on the Winter Windows displays in Base Village and on the Snowmass Mall!

Visit AspenChamber.org for all activities and events during Wintersköl.

Wintersköl, Aspen’s annual “toast to winter,” dates back to a quiet January in 1951 when locals chose to commemorate Aspen’s distinctive mountain way of life with a diverse weekend of events.  The multi-day festival showcases on-mountain activities, snow sculptures, a soup contest, a craft beer festival, a torchlight descent and fireworks on Aspen Mountain plus much more.
