What’s New in Snowmass, Colorado: Winter 2022/2023

New Developments, Retail Stores & Restaurant Menus, World Cup Skiing, Transportation Options, and More Come to Snowmass Village This Winter

Snowmass Village, Colo., (September 8, 2022) – Snowmass Village, CO continues to refine its position as a world class winter destination, with new capital improvement projects, lodging offerings, World Cup ski racing, enhanced transportation options, retail shops, and much more.

Cirque Residences X Viceroy Snowmass Breaks Ground

Construction has begun on the Cirque Residences X Viceroy Snowmass, the latest offering in Snowmass Base Village. Cirque Residences are the much-anticipated sequel to the original Viceroy Residences. Featuring two- and three-bedroom floor plans and home-within-a-hotel living, Cirque Residences are located in a brand-new luxury tower. Look for the planned sales launch this winter. Viewline Snowmass Resort Celebrates First Full Winter in Snowmass
This 2022-2023 winter season the Viewline Resort Snowmass celebrates its first full winter of operations. Since last winter, the resort has completed its renovations and launched new guest programming. Viewline Resort Snowmass, situated directly on Snowmass Ski Area and just above the Snowmass Mall, provides guests access to a complimentary ski-in/ski-out concierge, making it even easier to get on and off the mountain. The resort recently debuted its new suites, each situated slope-side with stunning mountain or village views. The spacious, luxurious suites feature rustic wood detailing, mountain-inspired décor, and luxe bedding and linens. Lupine Spa, now fully open, spans 3,650 square feet and is inspired by the resort’s alpine setting. Its inhalation therapy bar will become available this winter season offering 15-, 30-, and 45-minute oxygen sessions to assist with acclimation to altitude. Electric Pass Lodge Slated for Completion in Spring 2023

The Crestwood Condominiums Refreshes Outdoor Space

Opening for the Winter 2022/203 season, Mawita, a full service Mexican-inspired kitchen, opens in The Collective in Snowmass Base Village. Mawita, the newest concept from Mawa McQueen, owner of Mawa’s Kitchen, The Crepe Shack, GrainFreeNola, and McQueen Hospitality, focuses on Latin inspired flavors and cuisine from Mawa’s extensive travels. Aurum Snowmass Announces Two New Bespoke Menus Catered to Pups and Skiers

Aurum Snowmass, Snowmass Base Village’s newest restaurant, debuts two new menus this winter season. In addition to their regular menu and popular happy hour (daily from 5:00pm-6:00pm, featuring incredible discounts on snacks, beers, and cocktails), Aurum Snowmass features a new “Yappy Hour” Menu and “Hit the Trails” Menu. The “Yappy Hour” Menu is a dog-specific menu served on the patio spaces at Aurum Snowmass. The menu consists of special dog-friendly treats to be sure each extra family member isn’t left out of the gourmet experience. Best of all, each dish is served on a frisbee! Audi FIS Ski World Cup Ski Racing Returns to Aspen Snowmass, March 3-5, 2023

Aspen Snowmass welcomes the return of international ski racing this season with the Audi FIS Ski World Cup, scheduled for March 3-5, 2023. The top men in the in the world compete on the America’s Downhill course on Aspen Mountain, an iconic World Cup venue with decades of racing history, with two downhills and a super G scheduled March 3-5, 2023. Aspen Snowmass hosted the first World Championships held outside of Europe in 1950 and the mountain has hosted innumerable ski racing legends since that time. Aspen Snowmass has hosted more than 100 World Cup races for both men and women over the years and was home to the World Cup Finals in 2017. Anderson Ranch Arts Center Announces Workshops & Events
Anderson Ranch Arts Center, the premier destination for art making and critical dialog in the contemporary art world, features several events and workshops for the upcoming winter. Delta Adds Second Daily Atlanta Nonstop to Aspen/Pitkin County Airport

Delta has added a second daily nonstop between Atlanta (ATL) and Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) to this winter’s schedule, beginning December 17, 2022. The second flight to ATL better connects ASE to the world’s largest airline hub. ASE offers direct flights from Los Angles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Austin, and Dallas. www.aspenairport.com
