What’s New for Winter 2025/2026 in Snowmass Village, CO

New Lifts, Dining Upgrades, and Exciting Events Elevate Snowmass This Winter

Snowmass Village, Colo., (October 2, 2025) – The Winter 2025/26 season in Snowmass Village sees major capital improvements at Snowmass Ski Area, new restaurants in the village, and a new direct flight from Charlotte, NC.

“Snowmass continues to elevate the guest experience with exciting on-mountain enhancements, new culinary offerings, and expanded air access, including our new direct flight from Charlotte,” says Julia Theisen, Tourism Director, Snowmass Tourism. “Whether you’re here for world-class skiing, dynamic events, unforgettable après, or off-the-slopes fun, this winter promises adventure and everything else Snowmass is known for.”

Major On-Mountain Developments
Snowmass Ski Area has three major investment projects in process, totaling nearly $80 million in on-mountain improvements. Debuting this winter is the upgrade of the existing Elk Camp quad chair to a new state-of-the-art 6-pack lift. The new Cirque T-bar also debuts this winter, replacing the existing platter lift, one of the highest-elevation lifts in North America, reducing wait times and improving access to some of Snowmass’ most iconic high alpine terrain. This replacement effectively doubles the capacity of the lift, as it goes from a single-rider to double-rider capacity. Finally, Ullrhof, the beloved mid-mountain restaurant on Snowmass, started a complete rebuild in summer 2025 and is set to re-open for the 2026-27 winter season. The new Ullrhof will be Aspen Snowmass’s first fully electric restaurant with seating for 500+. These projects are part of a multi-year initiative to elevate guest dining experiences at Snowmass and add restaurant seating across the mountain.

In on-mountain dining news, the Elk Camp Restaurant now features a new 120-seat east-side deck with a retractable umbrella and glass wall system, which offers climate-secure comfort and sweeping mountain views. The Hot Dogger at Spider Sabich, a collaboration with Los Angeles-based Sumo Dog, brings gourmet hot dogs to the slopes. High Alpine introduces a global rotating cuisine concept; adjacent Alpin Room shifts to French-inspired fare under award-winning chef Emily Oyer. The Cabin + Sun Club features a Veuve Clicquot-partnered outdoor patio with street tacos, champagne, and heated lounge seating.
