Sixteen years later, the Tribe returns to its origins, where the very first gathering transpired on the flanks of Fanny Hill in Snowmass. While the event has grown eightfold, the common thread remains the same – a devotion to riding great bikes.
The 17th Annual Yeti Tribe Gathering will headquarter out of Town Park Station with direct access to the Snowmass Recreation Center, the classic Rim Trail and an 18-hole golf course across the street. Just up the road lies Snowmass Bike Park – home to the most vertical feet of any lift-serviced bike park in Colorado with 50 miles of trails for all skill levels.
With 3,000 vertical feet to gain via the Elk Camp Gondola and Elk Camp Chair, you will be able to save your breath for the dramatic views of 14,000-foot peaks in every direction. Yes, you read correctly – this year’s ride will be lift-assisted. The Maroon Bells are the most photographed peaks in all of North America – so don’t forget to bring your selfie stick to capture the moment before diving into trails raced in the 2016/17 Enduro World Series.
This year’s Tribe Gathering pass has three tiers to select. As a reminder…
- Yeti bike ownership required to come and ride with the Tribe
- Pass required for all attendees 8 years old and up
- Kid welcome, this is a family-friendly event!
The event and activity schedule in Snowmass is packed. Come early for a free Thursday night concert on Snowmass Mountain after setting up camp during early arrival hours. The VIDA MTB Series and Enduro MTB Training are partnering with Snowmass Bike Park to bring you a 1-day clinic on Friday to fine tune skills so you can send it on Valhalla on Saturday. Big Delicious Catering returns to woo the Tribe with their culinary flair, and this year we are joined by both Upslope Brewing Company and 10 Barrel Brewing Co. to guarantee the taps never run dry.
