WHAT:         Snowmass’ new sunset Fourth of July event, the Community Celebration, takes place on Tuesday, July 4, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on the Base Village Events Lawn. This free fun, family-focused evening features a variety of festive happenings including:

Music: DJ Berkel Beats will be spinning tunes all evening for a festive Fourth of July vibe.

Complimentary Sweet Treats: The Sled, Aspen Skiing Company’s mobile food truck, will be serving free grab-and-go treats all evening. Treats include mini brownies, pies, and strawberry shortcake, ice cream, churros, and more. Guests can also enjoy s’mores by the fire, located just outside of Base Camp Bar & Grill.

 Glow-in-the-Dark Games & Fun: Free glow-in-the-dark games occur on the Base Village Events Lawn with fun including a bounce house, LED bocce ball, LED beanbag toss, Frisbee, soccer, horseshoes, whiffle ball, life-sized Jenga, and much more. Betty Hoops, local hula-hooper and entertainer will also be on hand. Guests will receive Fourth of July themed giveaways such as American flags, beads, glow sticks, and more.

Fireworks: Per the Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District directive, fireworks have been canceled due to dry weather, but the Community Celebration will continue, rain or shine!

Snowmass restaurants, shops, and hotels, will be open during the event for additional food and fun.
