Altitude sickness is a real thing, especially for the little ones. Be on the lookout for nosebleeds, nausea and severe headaches. If this occurs, take head and hydrate, medicate and rest.
If you have picky eaters, make a stop at Clark’s Market, the grocery store located in the village, for supplies. They have a fully stocked store with all of the essentials you are sure to need.
No one flies direct to Aspen from Houston. Plan on a stop in Dallas or Denver for the best rates. Or, you can always drive. It’s about 1,200 miles.
