The Aspen Science Center was formed to offer teachers, students, and the larger community a vital center of instruction in and exploration of science, and a resource for science literacy. Science is an indispensable tool for understanding our world, becoming an informed citizen, and enriching people’s lives. In today’s world, each citizen must have a solid base in the understanding of, and appreciation for, scientific concepts and their essential role in the betterment of humankind. Our mission is to advance the public understanding of science through life-long discovery, exploration and education, by providing science programs and resources that are cutting-edge, entertaining, accessible, relevant, and understandable.

In Snowmass Village, every child is a Very Important Kid. In honor of these younger guests, Snowmass has developed V.I.K. Snowmass, a hub for activities, events, and information to help ensure that the next generation has nothing but fun while visiting the iconic mountain village. Kids visiting Snowmass this winter can take advantage of a variety of activities, both on and off the slopes.
