A Snowmass summer tradition 27 years in the making, the Snowmass Free Concert Series is a must-do music event. Every Thursday evening (and two bonus Saturdays), locals and visitors alike gather on Fanny Hill to enjoy some of the country’s best live bands in a relaxed atmosphere with a spectacular mountain backdrop.
Tonight’s band: Southern Drawl Band – Southern Rockin’ Country music with a twist of lime distilled in the backwoods of Tennessee
About the band: Southern Drawl Band has been touring the U.S. from coast to coast since it’s beginnings in 2012. One of the band’s most exciting achievements came in 2012 when the University of Tennessee debuted the video for the band’s rocked up, barn burning version of “Rockytop” on the jumbo-tron at Neyland Stadium to a sold out crowd of over 102,000. The song went on to smash radio charts and is one of the most popular versions in America being played on NBC’s Sunday Night Football for millions of viewers in celebration of Peyton Manning’s record breaking touchdown pass in October of 2014.

Where to go: Concerts are held on the Fanny Hill Concert Stage at the end of the Snowmass Mall. We recommend taking the free RFTA bus service from Aspen and the Intercept Lot, or the free Village Shuttle service throughout Snowmass. It is best to get off at the Snowmass Mall stop.
If you are driving, all numbered lots along Carriage Way and the Base Village Parking Garage offer free parking during the summer months. If you park in the garage, you can ride the free Sky Cab Gondola (known as the Skittles) between Base Village and the Snowmass Mall. Free parking is also available at Town Park Station and the Brush Creek Intercept Lot, with free shuttles to the Snowmass Mall and Base Village. For more event parking information, please click here.
