Social Saturdays

Spend Saturday afternoon from 5pm-8pm on the Snowmass Mall!

The mall comes alive with local music, extended business hours, food & drink specials, and activities for all ages.

Enjoy family fun including stilt walkers, acrobats, magic shows, bubbles, etc. Throughout the summer, select Saturdays feature chalk art competitions, a strider bike race series, an aerialist, and the Rosybelle Mobile Art Bus (August 8 & August 15). 

Stick around for late night in Snowmass with Movies Under the Stars starting at 8pm in Snowmass Base Village. 

Music will include the trio Elements Jazz and classic hits from String Duo.

Food, shopping, movies, and fun… what more can you ask for on a Saturday night??

September 5th Cultural Activation:

Canvas painting from 3-5pm!

Local artist Heather Quinn will lead painting on Base Village lawn FREE – this includes materials.

Heather has been an artist here in the valley for around ten years but has been painting since she was a child. She currently works out of SAW in Carbondale working mainly with acrylics and illustration. She paints on walls, motorcycles, canvas, wood… you name it. She has collaborated with everyone from ski companies to tattoo artists.

Heather’s current work is mainly inspired by the clash of humans and nature. Moving forward I would like to start working on bigger scale projects.

Getting to the Snowmass Village Mall

If you are driving, all numbered lots along Carriage Way offer free parking during the summer months. The numbered lots give access to the Snowmass Mall and Base Village. Parking is free in the Base Village Parking Garage as well. If you park in the garage, you can ride the free Sky Cab Gondola (known as the Skittles) between Base Village and the Snowmass Mall. Free parking is also available at Town Park Station and the Brush Creek Park & Ride (Intercept Lot), with free shuttles to the Snowmass Mall and Base Village. Free bus transportation is available via RFTA bus service from Aspen and the Intercept Lot, or the free Village Shuttle service throughout Snowmass.
