Krabloonik dog sled rides are an exciting journey through the pristine Snowmass backcountry. Each sled, which can carry two adults and a small child, is pulled by 8-10 Alaskan Husky sled dogs and guided by an experienced musher. A romantic, gas-lit log cabin offers lunch, après and dinner featuring Colorado fare from hearty stews to exquisite game dishes. Dog sledding reservations required by phone only.
Beginning mid-November until mid-December (when there is enough snow to run sleds) kennel and ATV Safari tours are available to reserve daily! Kennel tours begin at 11 am daily, $25 for 12 years old and under, $45 13 years old and up for one hour come meet the huskies and learn about the science of training and socializing happy, healthy dogs. ATV Safari Tours begin at 9am, guests can expect a behind the scenes look at the dogs’ pre-winter training while winding through the pristing mountains of Snowmass. This tour includes a walk through the kennel to meet the rest of the team and new puppies. $65 for kids 12 and under, $85 for guests 13 years old and up with a 20 person maximum.
