Founded by Eric Ward, The Foot Foundation’s patented testing method recreates the critical patterns of balance that mimic any dynamic activity. His education, experience and continued research into how balance affects performance in sports led to the development of the patented Shim Balance System (SBS.) With the Shim Balance System, an athlete’s footbed is measured and optimized by adding a custom-angled shim. This instantly improves balance and performance in any sport.
